The 2nd Annual Baltimore Summer Kickoff will be held again at the Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills, Maryland, on June 17-19th. 

We are guaranteed 6 games.  Last year this tournament was very well run and it had a nice representation of higher end DI, DII and DIII coaches.  We can only assume it will be even better this summer.

The All-Star will once again showcase the top 40 players (selected by the college coaches) and will take place on Saturday night after the last games.  SMS has a great showing in this All-Star game last year.  We expect to do the same again this year.

Each game will be 22 minute running halves with a 4 minute halftime.  There will be 2 referees on each field.

Ultimate Performance Lacrosse (UPLax)

The 5th annual UPlax recruiting tournament will take place again in Annapolis on June 24th.  The UPlax tournament is sandwiched in between the end of Senior TOP 205 session 1 and just before Senior TOP 205 session 2.  We consider Uplax to be one, if not the best, 1 day recruiting tournament around.  We will play 3 games.  UPLax tournaments are always well attended by college coaches from the DI, DII and DIII levels. There's no All-Star game at this tournament as it is not set up in the championship format.

Games could be played at either Davidsonville Park or South River High School. 

All Nations TOP 16 Shootout  this event has been cancelled we are looking for a replacement

Battle of the Hotbeds 

Once again we will be traveling to the University of Delaware to compete in the last major recruiting tournaments of the summer. The Battle of the Hotbeds will take place on July 24-27.  Players will stay in the dorms at UDel.  We will play about about 12 games over 3-4 days.  This tournament attracts a ton of different college coaches in DI, DII & DIII.  

Last year they added a junior Allstar game to the already well known senior All-Star game.  SMS was well represented once again and we should do the same again this year.
